Our programs
Manpower Transport Academy
Manpower Transport Academy started for the first time in the fall of 2021. Since then, several participants have been hired as permanent drivers at some of Norway's largest transport players. Many are still employed by the companies where they received their education, while others have found new opportunities or advanced to other roles.
Now are now continuing the success, and are starting a new cohort for 2025 - in collaboration with ASKO and Tine, two large and renowned companies in the transport industry.
Manpower Academy Nortura
The meat cutting industry lacks qualified labor. In order to get enough qualified meat cutters, Nortura, in collaboration with Manpower, established the country's first private training program in meat cutting two years ago. The program is intended to encourage young people to choose a career in meat cutting. The program consists of one year of training and one year of internship at Nortura. Participants receive full pay during the training, and the opportunity to obtain a trade certificate and get a permanent job at Nortura.
The collaboration between Manpower and Nortura has been so successful that the project idea is now being transferred to other Nortura facilities that need more skilled labor. Since the start of the project in 2022, a total of 7 cohorts with 27 employees have been recruited via Manpower Academy. 13 of these are now permanent employees at Nortura.
